The Alpine A106 was a family of cars that were introduced in 1955. Largely based on the Renault 4CV, the A106 was a lightweight car built in a coupe or convertible body style, with either a 747cc or 904cc inline four engine. The A106 featured a rear mounted engine, with a manual transmission sending drive to the rear wheels. Production of the Alpine A106 lasted until 1961.
