The Acura Integra RS was the entry-level variant for the 1st Gen Integra. Introduced for the 1986 model year, the RS was available in a liftback coupe body style in North America, with other markets offering a sedan. These cars were powered by a 1.6L inline four that drove the front wheels through a 5 speed manual or 4 speed automatic transmission. Production of the 1st Gen Integra RS ended in 1989 but the model series would continue life as the 2nd Gen Acura Integra RS.
