The Acura Integra's fifth generation was a replacement for the Acura ILX. The 2023 model Acura Integra was released in 2022 as a five-door "lift-back" body style. The car marks the resurrection of the Integra name to North America, which was discontinued in 2001. This Integra is based on the Honda Civic of the same year. It also shares the engine with the Honda Civic Si. A turbo-charged inline-four-cylinder front-mounted engine powers the front wheels. Customers have a choice of a six-speed manual or a CVT automatic. Acura also designed a sport-focused Integra that goes by the name A-Spec, as well as the even more performance-focused variant, the Type-S.
