The twelfth generation of Ford F-Series was introduced for the 2009 model year. This new generation of F-Series was offered in standard, extended, and crew cab variants, and was available with a range of V6 and V8 engine options. Both rear wheel drive or four wheel drive versions were made, as well as the notable SVT Raptor off-road performance variant. Production of the twelfth generation F-Series lasted until 2014, when Ford introduced the Thirteenth Generation F-Series.
