The Volkswagen Type 147 was introduced in 1964. A small commercial van, the Type 147 was largely created for Deutsche Bundepost. The 147 saw heavy use by German and Swiss post, as well as finding use as an airport vehicle. A rarity on the classic car market, the Kleinlieferwagen, meaning 'Little Van,' was built until 1974, with few examples remaining.
