The fourth generation of Buick Century was introduced for the 1978 model year. The fourth generation Century was downsized from the previous generation, but was still available as a sedan, coupe, or station wagon. The fourth generation Century was available with a range of V6 and V8 engines, and was in production until 1981, when it was replaced by the Fifth Generation Buick Century.
