BMW introduced the 535i variant of their E60 5 Series for the 2008 model year. The 535i was powered by BMW's N54B30 engine. This 3.0L inline six engine featured twin-turbochargers and produced 302hp driving the rear wheels. Both sedan and station wagon body styles were available as well as manual and automatic transmissions. BMW also produced an all wheel drive version of the 535i known as the 535xi. Production of the E60 535i lasted until 2010, when it was reborn in the next generation BMW F10 5 Series.
