Using our CLASSIC.COM Market Benchmark*, we’ve analyzed over 6,000 individual markets** to pinpoint the top Growing and Slowing Markets across three distinct value tiers: Over $500K, Between $100K-500K, and Under $100K. To qualify for this list, a market must have more than one sold listing between January-March 2024.

Over 400 markets valued between $100K-$500K showed activity, with 275 markets recording more than one sale. More than half of these markets saw a decrease in value, and one-third experienced declines of over 10%. Conversely, only the top 10% of markets grew by more than 10%, indicating a general downtrend. However, many models did outperform despite a broader trend of stagnation or decline.
Leading the growth chart, the Mercedes-Benz SL73 AMG (R129) witnessed a 166% value increase, with two sales out of the 85 ever produced. The 3rd-Gen Pontiac Star Chief followed with a 132% surge, largely due to the popularity of custom restorations. The 1965 Buick Riviera Gran Sport also stood out with a 32% increase from three sales. Additionally, two Porsche models showed significant growth: the 911 GT2 Clubsport (996.2) and the 911 Carrera RS N/GT (964), with 42% and 30% increases, respectively. The Ariel Nomad saw a 33% rise with three online sales. Italian models, including the Ferrari 250 GT/E 2+2, the base model Lamborghini Diablo, and the manual Ferrari 612 Scaglietti, each grew by 25%. The E30 BMW M3 Convertible was also featured on the list with a 24% increase.
