Whippet was a short lived American automotive brand created by Willys-Overland. Beginning in 1926, the Whippet brand offered a smaller alternative to other Willys Overland offerings. Whippet cars were available in touring and roadster body styles, and was offered with inline four or inline six engines with 30hp and 40hp respetively. Due to the Great Depression, Willys was forced to drop various brands, including Whippet in 1931.
