The Triumph TR7 is a sports car which was introduced for the 1975 model year by the Specialist Division (latterly the Jaguar-Rover-Triumph division) of British Leyland in the United Kingdom. The TR7, which was built in Roadster and Coupe body styles, was launched in the United States in January 1975, with its UK home market debut in May 1976. These cars were powered by a 2.0L inline four engine with drive being sent to the rear wheels. A V8 version of the car was launched in 1979 known as the Triumph TR8, with production of the TR7 lasting until 1982.
