The Subaru WRX was a series of performance focused sedans introduced for the 2015 model year. The WRX was based on the Subaru Impreza, from which it had previously been a sporting variant. Subaru decided to separate the WRX from the Impreza, using a different body, and offering the car exclusively as a sedan. The WRX featured all wheel drive powered by a selection of turbocharged flat four engines, as well as notable variants such as the WRX STi. Two generations of the WRX have been built: VA - 1st Gen (2015-2021) and VB - 2nd Gen (2022-).
