Rolls Royce has used the Silver Wraith name for two separate models during its history. The Silver Wraith I was introduced in 1946 as a high end luxury car offered in a 4 door saloon body style, but was also available as a chassis for bodywork to be created by a coachbuilder. These cars were built until 1958, and it wasn't until 1976 that the Silver Wraith name reappeared for the Silver Wraith II. The Silver Wraith II was largely a long wheelbase version of the Silver Shadow, and was built until 1980.
