Puma was a Brazilian automotive manufacturer that was founded in 1963 as Lumimari before becoming known as Puma in 1964. The company built a range of fiberglass-bodied sports cars that were built on existing platforms from various manufacturers. A few notable Puma models included the GTI and the GTB. Although the company had a complex corporate history filled with various hurdles it still reached relative success with substantial sales in many countries.
