The third generation Plymouth Belvedere was introduced for the 1957 model year. The third generation Belvedere was available as a sedan, coupe, convertible, and station wagon, and was fitted with a range of inline six and V8 engines. A notable variant was the Plymouth Fury, a high performance version of the Belvedere. The third generation Belvedere was in production until 1959, when it was replaced by the Fourth Generation Plymouth Belvedere.
