The third generation Plymouth Barracuda was introduced for the 1970 model year. The third generation Barracuda was available as a coupe or convertible, and was available with slant six or V8 engine options. The most notable third generation Barracuda variants were the 'Cuda and Hemi Cuda, a V8 Hemi powered limited production car. The third generation Plymouth Barracuda was in production until 1974 when the model was discontinued.
