The fourth generation of Oldsmobile 98 was introduced for the 1954 model year. Now known as the 'Ninety-Eight,' this updated generation of 98 was offered in a variety of body styles including the 'Holiday' hardtop and 'Starfire' convertible, and were powered by a 5.3L Rocket V8 engine. Production continued until 1956 when the Fifth Generation Oldsmobile 98 was introduced.
