The Nissan 300ZX Turbo was a variant of the Nissan Z31 Z-car that was introduced for the 1984 model year. The 300ZX Turbo was only built in a liftback coupe body style, but was available with a T-Top or slicktop (hardtop) roof. Powering these cars was Nissan's V30GET V6 engine, which depending on the market, ranged from 197hp to 230hp in output. Both a 5 speed manual or optional 4 speed automatic were available as transmissions. Production of the Z31 Nissan 300ZX ended in 1989 when the next generation Z32 Nissan Z-car debuted.
