The Mitsubishi Eclipse GS-T was a sporty variant of the Second Generation Eclipse that went on sale for the 1995 model year. The GS-T, which stood for Grand Sport Turbo, was offered in both coupe and convertible (Spyder) body styles. These cars were powered by a turbocharged version of Mitsubishi's 4G63 2.0L inline four that generated 210hp. Drive from this engine was sent to the rear wheels through a 5 speed manual or 4 speed automatic transmission. Production of the 2nd Gen Mitsubishi Eclipse GS-T lasted until 1999.
