The 3000GT VR-4 was the performance variant of the Mitsubishi 3000GT. The first generation VR-4 was fitted with a raft of standard features, including active aerodynamics, but most importantly, it was fitted with a 3.0L twin turbo V6 engine producing 300hp. While the VR-4 was only offered as a coupe for the First Generation 3000GT, custom built convertibles can often be found.
