The second generation of Mini was introduced in 1967 and is known as the Mk II. The Mark II Mini saw subtle updates to the styling, such as a larger rear window and new front grill. Saloon, van, estate, and pickup body styles were offered for Standard Mk II Variants, as were the Cooper and Cooper S performance variants. Starting in 1968, licenced versions of the Mini were made in Spain under the Authi brand. In 1969, all Austin and Morris Minis had their badging changed, now falling under the 'Mini' brand. Production of the Mk II Mini continued until 1970, and the model was replaced by the Mark III Mini.
