The third and final generation of Mercury Marauder was introduced for the 2003 model year. This new generation of Marauder was the first use of the Marauder name for a car since 1970. The third generation of Marauder was a series of performance focused cars based on the Mercury Grand Marquis. Offered exclusively as a four door sedan, the third generation Marauder was fitted with a 302 hp 4.6L V8 engine. The final generation of Mercury Marauder ended production in 2004.
