The company was well known for building a variety of highly regarded sports cars, including the famous Type 35R Raceabout. The most notable models were the Type 35, Series 5, and Series 6. Mercer continued operations until 1919, a death in the ownership of the company necessitated Mercer's reorganization as part of Hare's Motors.
