The Mercedes-Benz 250SL “Pagoda” was sold for model years 1967 to 1968 as the previous 230SL model became outmoded by automotive technological advances. The rarest of the W113 SL-Class, the 250 SL production lasted only one year and only 5,196 were manufactured. A special “California Coupé” 2+2 body style ran in limited production. This model was followed by the 280SL 'Pagoda'.
