The coupe version of the W126 S-Class, the C126 was introduced in 1981. The first models available were the 380SEC and the 500SEC. For the 1986 model year, a range topping 560SEC was introduced alongside a the new 420SEC. Some of the most sought after S-Class Coupes are the AMG versions, including the 500SEC 5.4 AMG, 500SEC 6.0 AMG, 560SEC 5.6 AMG, famous 560SEC 6.0 AMG. In 1991, the C126 gave way to the second generation of S-Class Coupe, the C140.
