The Mercedes-Benz GLC 300 4MATIC was an all wheel drive variant of the X253 GLC-Class that debuted for the 2016 model year. It was powered by Mercedes' M274 engine which was 2.0L Turbo I4 that generated 242hp and 273lb⋅ft of torque sending power to all four wheels through a 9-speed automatic transmission. In 2020 an engine upgrade took place powering the GLC 300 4MATIC with Mercedes' M264 engine and adding a 16kW (21.5 hp) Motor (EQ Boost). The GLC300 4MATIC ended production in 2022 when it was replaced by the Mercedes-Benz X254 GLC 300 4MATIC.
