The first Brabus conversion based on a G-Wagon was in 2004 when the model was on its 25th anniversary. Since then, the company has gone on to produce a wide range of variants, with the first being the Brabus G V12. The G V12 was powered by a heavily modified, twin-turbocharged 6.3L Brabus S V12 engine producing 610hp, which sent power to all four wheels through a five-speed automatic transmission. The G V12 accelerates from 0 to 60 MPH in 4.7 seconds and was able to reach a top speed of 240 MPH. Brabus continued developing and producing a range of options and packages that consisted of engine modifications, body kits and various accessories to deliver maximum performance for the W463, such as the Brabus G 3.6, Brabus G55 AMG K8, Brabus G V12, Brabus V12 S, Brabus 700 G63 AMG 6x6 and the Brabus 800 Widestar among others.
