The CLK 230 Kompressor was one of the first variants of the W208 Mercedes-Benz CLK to be introduced. Debuting for the 1998 model year, the CLK230 Kompressor was offered in Coupe or Convertible body style, and was powered by a 2.3L supercharged inline four engine. This 194hp engine was paired to a 5 speed automatic transmission, sending power to the rear wheels. Production of the CLK 230 Kompressor ended in 2003.
