The third generation Mercedes-Benz C-Class was introduced for the 2008 model year updating the W203 C-Class. Continuing the model's traditions as a compact luxury saloon, the W204 was offered as a 4 door saloon, a 5 door station wagon, and a 2 door coupe (although the station wagon was not sold in North America). The W204 was offered with an inline 4, inline 6, V6, or V8 engine. The W204 was replaced by the fourth generation W205 Mercedes-Benz C-Class.
