The McLaren Senna is a high performance supercar that debuted for the 2019 model year. Representing McLaren's halo offering when it was introduced, the Senna is named after the legendary Brazilian race car driver Ayrton Senna. During Senna's time as a driver for McLaren's Formula One team, he achieved amazing success, establishing himself as the world's best race car driver. This success and ability inspired McLaren to make the Senna an incredibly capable car, as nothing less would do the Senna name justice. Powered by a mid-mounted 4.0L twin-turbo V8 engine that was available in different states of tune, these cars sent their power to the rear wheels via a 7 speed dual-clutch automatic transmission. Four variants of the Senna were built: the Senna - Base Model, the Senna GTR, the Senna LM, and the Senna GTR LM. Just a total of 500 examples of the McLaren Senna were produced.
