The Lister Motor Company, better known as Lister, was a British automotive manufacturer that was founded in 1954. Lister became well known for their successful sports and Race Cars, achieving a great deal of success in various motorsports disciplines. This motorsports success spawned various Replicas of well known race cars. The company entered financial difficulties in the mid 1960s, before being reborn in 1986. This newly reformed Lister produced a various Jaguar XJS based cars that were known as the Lister-Jaguar XJS.
