The fourth-generation Lincoln Continental was built in three different body styles: a two-door coupe, a four-door sedan, and a convertible. The coupe was not available until 1966, whereas the sedan and four-door convertible sedan led the model in 1961. These cars were powered by a 460ci or 462ci V8 engine that was paired to an automatic transmission that sent drive to the rear wheels.
