The fourth generation of Lexus LS was introduced for the 2007 model year. Known as the XF40, the fourth generation of LS was available in two variants, the LS 460, and the LS 600h hybrid. Offered with two different displacement V8 engines, the XF40 was replaced by the fifth generation Lexus LS XF50 for the 2018 model year.
