The fifth generation of Land Rover Discovery was introduced for 2017. Known as the Discovery 5, this new generation of Discovery saw the reintroduction of the Discovery name to North American and the Middle Eastern markets. Previously, the model was known as the LR4 in those markets. The Discovery 5 features marketedly different styling than its predecessors and is offered with a range of forced induction engines.
