The L663 Generation of the Land Rover Defender debuted for the 2020 model year. This new generation of Defender, which has the development code L663, was completely new from the ground up, sharing no parts or engineering with its predecessor. The L663 Defender was created to channel the spirit and capabilities of the Ninety/OneTen and the L316 Defender, but with an added emphasis on luxury and refinement. These new SUVs are available in two wheelbase lengths, named after the original Defender 90 and Defender 110. The L663 90 is offered in a three door SUV body style, while the longer 110 features five doors.
