Introduced for the 1987 model year, the Jeep Wrangler is a series of SUVs considered the successor to the famed Jeep CJs. Built to be rugged and durable off-road vehicles, the Wrangler was available as a compact or midsize SUV, and has been built in four generations: YJ (1987-1995), TJ (1997-2006), JK (2007-2018), and JL (2018-).
