The Isuzu VehiCROSS was a limited-production three-door SUV offered between 1997 and 2001. Mechanically based on the Isuzu Trooper, the VehiCROSS was powered by either a 3.2L or 3.5L V6 engine, both of which were paired to a 4 speed automatic transmission. The US market only received the 3.5L V6, which had an output of 215hp. The VehiCROSS was highly regarded for its off road abilities, which well surpassed its compact size. The unique styling featuring extensive black plastic body cladding was striking, while the short overhangs allowed for excellent off-road abilities. Only 5,958 were produced.
