The Isuzu MU was a three or five-door sports utility offered in two generations between 1989 and 2004. The three-door was known in North America as the Amigo, while the five-door was the Rodeo. The three-door MU/Amigo had a soft top covering the rear seats to give an open-air feel. A number of engines were offered, with four-cylinder options ranging between 2.3L and 2.6L, a 3.1L GM V6, a 3.2-liter Isuzu V6, and a variety of diesel fours ranging from 2.5L to 3.1L.
