Iso was an Italian manufacturer of cars and motorcycles that was established in 1953. The company had roots in various industries before being re-established in 1953 in order to signify its new focus on transportation. Founded by Renzo Rivolta, Iso created one of the most iconic microcars during its early years, the Isetta. These cars would sell around the world, and were licenced by a variety of manufacturers. In 1962, Iso introduced the Rivolta, their first grand tourer. The Rivolta signaled Iso's shift into more luxurious performance cars, and the company would later introduce models like the Grifo, Fidia, and Lele. Iso continued to operate until 1974, when the company went bankrupt.
