The International Harvester Travelall was a series of cars that was introduced for the 1953 model year. The Travelall was a precursor to the modern SUV, and competed with the likes of the Chevrolet Suburban. Over the course of production, the Travelall was offered in three, four, or five door wagon body styles, and was available as a rear or all wheel drive vehicle. The Travelall was based on International Harvester's light trucks during its production, which took place over four generations: 1st Gen (1953-1957), 2nd Gen (1958-1960), 3rd Gen (1961-1968), and 4th Gen (1969-1975).
