The Hyundai Motor Company, more commonly known as Hyundai, is a South Korean automotive manufacturer founded in 1967. In 1975, with the help of several seasoned European automotive dignitaries, Hyundai released the first South Korean-built car, the Pony, designed by Giorgio Giugiaro.
