The Hummer H2 was introduced for the 2003 model year. The H2 was a series of full size SUVs created to channel the original Hummer H1 into more modern guise. The H2 was offered in two body styles, a five door SUV, or four door sport utility truck, and was initially fitted with a 6.0L V8, but starting in 2008, a larger 6.2L V8 unit was used. Production of the Hummer H2 lasted until 2009.
