The Ford Mustang "SN-99" or "New Edge" was the second evolution of the Fourth Generation Mustang. Introduced for the 1999 model year, the SN-99 Mustang featured a vastly updated design that followed Ford's "New Edge" styling language. This styling was more agressive and angular, yet the mechanical underpinnings and interior were largely carried over from the previous SN-95. These cars were offered in both coupe and convertible body styles, with V6 and V8 engine options. Notable SN-99 variants included the GT, SVT Cobra, Bullitt, Mach 1, and SVT Cobra R. As was the case with many Mustangs, the SN-99 was often converted into a Race Car. The Fourth Generation SN-99 Mustang was built until 2004, when Ford debuted the Fifth Generation Mustang.
