For the 2017 model year, after a ten year hiatus, Ford introduced the second generation of the famed Ford GT. This new evolution of the GT was offered in a sleek coupe body style with distinctive flying buttresses. This range of supercars were powered by a mid-mounted V6 engine. This V6 is a Ford Ecoboost V6 that features twin turbochargers, which help it generate 647hp. This power is sent to the rear wheels via a 7 speed dual clutch automatic transmission. In addition to the Base Model, a range of special editions have been built, including the Competition Series, Carbon Series, Heritage Editions, Lightweight, Studio Collection Series, and Mk II.
