The Focus SVT was a performance focused variant of the Ford Focus that debuted for the 2002 model year. The SVT was named for Ford's Special Vehicle Team, which created the variant. These hot hatchbacks were available in three or five door body styles, and were powered by a 2.0L inline four engine that generated 170hp. This power was sent to the front wheels via a 6 speed manual transmission. Production of the Ford Focus SVT lasted until 2004.
