The Ford F-150 was the standard variant offered for the 12th Gen Ford F-Series. Introduced for the 2009 model year, the 12th Gen F-150 was available in two or four door body styles, as well as short or long bed versions. A range of V6 and V8 engines were offered, as was rear or all wheel drive, but with an automatic as the only transmission choice. Production of the 12th Gen F-150 ended in 2014, when Ford introduced the next generation 13th Gen Ford F-Series.
