The Ford F-150 was the standard variant of the 11th Gen F-Series, which debuted for the 2004 model year. The 11th Gen F-150 was offered in regular, extended and crew cab pickup body styles, with engines including a base 4.2L V6, or a few V8 options. Depending on configuration, these trucks were available in rear wheel drive or four wheel drive, and with manual or automatic transmissions. Trim levels offered included the base XL, and then in ascending order, the STX, XLT, FX4, King Ranch, and Lariat. Production of the 11th Gen Ford F-150 lasted until 2008, when it was replaced by the 12th Gen Ford F-Series.
