The Ferrari Mondial t Cabriolet was the convertible version of the final evolution of the Mondial, produced for model year 1989 to 1993. As with its coupe sibling, it was a substantially changed model, which "spearhead of a new generation of V8 Ferraris", according to Road & Track magazine. It was visually different from preceding Mondial models, the most recognizable being the redesign of the air intakes to a smaller rectangular shape. Additionally, the door-handles were of a visually different design. Power was upgraded to a 3.4 L (3405 cc) V8 engine producing 300 hp. 1,017 cabriolets were produced until 1993. Although it does not have a direct successor, the Ferrari 348 and Ferrari 355 are considered by some to be in its lineage.
