The base model Ferrari F430 coupe (Type F131) was produced for model years 2005 to 2009 as a successor to the Ferrari 360. The F430 coupé features a 4,308 cc (4.3 L) V8 producting 490 PS (360 kW; 483 hp), at 8,500 rpm and 465 N⋅m (343 lb⋅ft) of torque at 5,250 rpm. It was available with a 6-speed manual transmission and more commonly with the F1 transmission. The F430 Spider was introduced shortly after the coupé and a more peformance oriented version of the coupé, the F430 Scuderia, was launched for model year 2008. The F430 coupe was replaced by the Ferrari 458 Italia for model year 2010.
