The Ferrari 348 (Type F119) is a mid-engine V8-powered 2-seat sports car produced by Ferrari, replacing the 328 in 1989 and continuing until 1995 (some were first registered in 1996). It was the final V8 model developed under the direction of Enzo Ferrari before his death, commissioned to production posthumously. The 348 was available in multiple variants including the 348 tb for the coupé (Transversale Berlinetta), the 348 ts for targa (Transversale Spider), the 348 Spider for the convertible version, and the rare 348 GTB and 348 GTS which briefly replaced the tb and ts respectively, among others. Notably, the 348 Challenge spawned the Ferrari Challenge racing series. Overlapping with the final samples sold, the 348 was succeeded by the Ferrari F355 starting in 1994.
