The Streetfighter model was launched by Ducati for the 2009 model year. When launched, the Streetfighter Base and the “S” variants were powered by the 1099cc 90° V-twin liquid cooled Testatretta engine inherited by the 1098 sport bike. Even though it used the same powertrain, it had a longer swing arm and wider handlebars to resemble the Streetfighter design. A decade later, the Streetfighter was offered in other notable variants such as the V4, V4S, V2 and the 848. The Ducati Streetfighter ended production in 2015.
